|Homemade Cashew Milk - never going back!|
I care about my body and health so much that I seek nutritional value in all of things that goes into and onto my body!
Coffee drinking have been enhancing my days- all day long for as long as I remember. I have tried many different creamers in seek of a wiser one. If you scroll down my www.instagram.com/pearleneutley feed- you will see some of them.
This morning, I tried a new recipe using cashews!!! Blogworthy! This recipe can be used for making casseroles that needs a kind of cream. Take the cream of mushroom cans out of your shopping cart. Now.... This will ROCK your oven!
1 cup of soaked in water, for 24 hours, raw whole cashews (You can double this up but 1 cup is good enough for me.)
Rinse well and put the cashews in your vitamix or any high power blender/processor.
Add 1 cup of water. (If you want to make cashew milk, add more water.)
Blend til smooth and then that is it!
*You can add a tablespoon or two of maple if you want your creamer to be already sweet. I leave it without any sweeteners so that I can decide how sweet I want my coffee according to that moment.)
Pour directly into mason jars and your coffee that have been waiting forever for its best creamer match!
Shake well and pour into your daily coffee! Superfoods! Be sure to share- you can always whip up more.

6. Has sleep promoting tryptophans which may conflict with the purpose of coffee but ehh... sleep comes before you drink coffee?
